Las Vegas' Serendipity 3

Okay, I lied about updating when I'm back from Vegas :P I have been tooooooo busy with my life!! hahahaha XD Anyways, it's been exactly ONE MONTH since I last updated. Let's see what should I talk about here..hmmm...

Let me share with you guys one of the favourite restaurants I have been to during this Vegas trip! :D

Day 1 Dinner at Serendipity 3
It's on the middle of the strip..right beside Caesar Palace..and it kinda looks like it's part of Caesar Palace due to the appearance :P Very Greek style!

Their portion is HUGE!!! I believe this is a turkey club sandwich :P

I forgot what's the name but it's a HUGE ASS steak sandwich!! I only ate 1 piece of the 2 steaks and the 2 eggs...and some of the yam fries..didn't touch the break AT ALL! :(

Okay, if you ever come to Vegas and happens to eat at Serendipity 3, you HAVE to try this. Cause THIS IS THE SHIT! It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin goodddddd! This is their Frozen Hot Chocolate drink. They have many flavors for you to choose from and the one I ordered (in the picture) is oreo cookie flavored!! :D You can get single portion or 2 persons portion for a few bucks more. The single person portion is really big already. I shared the 2 person portion with my friend and we were practically FULL after finishing this! lol

Even though they are pretty slow I don't know why cause there were a lot of servers but their customer service is pretty good. Nice people and good food. There might be a 30mins-1.5 hours of wait to be seated, depending what time of the year/day you are there. But overall, I recommend this place! Btw, their desserts are really famous too! Well known for their portion and FATTYNESS! HAHAHAXD

I went to Guu Garden in Downtown the other day with a bunch of frds. We split into 3 tables/bills cause it's so hard to order for everyone =\

Kimchi Udon
spicyyyyy

Karaage
My friend said this is the yummy-est fried chicken she ever had :D
good pick good pick from me~ kekekeke!!

Saba Sushi
I THINK this is raw..LOL!! Raw Saba still tastes like it is cooked =\

Butter and Miso Mussels Pot
my favourite cause I LOVE mussels!! XD

if you want to find me, please try here ;)

One of me and my bf's favourite restaurants is Cattle Cafe in Richmond. It's a Hong Kong style restaurant, but better because they have bbt and it's pretty nice and clean inside :) I wouldn't say it's a cha chang tang cause they only sell some traditional HK style fast food. It's really famous now due to me LOL. Many people have asked me where is it and what's good there, so I think the owner should really thank me, heehee :P

my favourite strawberry & mango slush!! XD They don't come a glass anymore :(

They come in a much smaller take-out cup!! %^$&*&(*%^@#

At least they still give you REAL COKE! :D

HK Style French Toast w/ Ice-cream

Macau Style Pork Chop Bun w/ fries

Pork Chop on rice w/ creamy sauce

Their very popular "choose-your-own toppings, noodle type, and soup base" noodle!
I love this sooo much!! You can get your choice of deep fried pork chop, chicken wings, or teriyaki chicken for an additional $2!! :D

This is Thai style dong yum gong soup base with rice! For toppings I have red sausages and pig intestines! yum yum yum :D

Guu is Guu'd...?

I haven't blog here for a long while, getting really lazy during this hot weather :P

So, I went to Guu in Richmond during early July (see how long I haven't update :P )! I'm not really a Guu person, their food is just not really my taste. I recommend other Japanese fusion style restaurants over Guu.

dish #1: GRILLED SABA
this fish is actually pretty big to my surprise! :O

dish #2: MUSSELS POT
omg I just love love love the miso sauce with the mussels!

dish #3: GUU CREATION
I don't rmb what these three sushi taste like already. I guess there is nothing special about them LOL!

dish #4: BEEF TATAKI
Beef tataki is always yummy, esp when they come in pretty big pieces! :)

dish #5: S.S. ROLL
I fight for this roll with my bf..but it end up to be an average sushi roll :(

I guess I like Guu a little more now cause this meal was pretty good. I love the grilled saba, mussels pot, and beef tataki~ Especially the mussel pot cause I LOVE mussels!! :D

A part of my journey - Jugo Juice

For the past few times when I take the Canada Line to Richmond from Waterfront Skytrain Station, I would stop by the Jugo Juice there. So basically, Jugo Juice has 3 major beverage selections on their menu: Smoothies, Superfood Smoothies, and Protein Shakes. I always pick something from the Smoothies column because all the drinks on there are blended with fresh fruits..so less calories, and I personally love fruit slush! :)

I recommend the Watermelon Wiggle cause it's one of the less sour drink they have :P

I love how they have nutritional facts stickers on all their menu drinks! I'm the type that calculate my daily calories intake and almost all take-out beverage shops would not have something like this that tells you how much calories you are consuming.

Summer 2010 featured drink - Coco Colada

Wacky Watermelon = Watermelon Wiggle
They have snackin' size smoothies (under 200 calories each) that's only around $2 cheaper but a lot smaller, so I recommend you get the regular size :P

Sippin' Strawberries = Summer Strawberry
too sour for me :(

Green Tea Buzz vs. Watermelon Wiggle (again, haha)
The Green Tea Buzz is from their Superfood Smoothies selection!

Open Restaurant style "JAPADOG"

Japadog is more than a hotdog stand in Downtown Vancouver now! They have opened a open style restaurant on Robson Street on May 28th, 2010! Congratz to them :)

They have like 6 japadog, regular hotdog, and 2 sweets dog (hotdog style dessert) on the menu. However, I ordered the same thing every time I go :P OROSHI FTW!!!

I like how they have this window so you can order outside but I still haven't seen anyone did that so I don't know what's the purpose of this yet :P

They have so many sauces for you to add on to your japadog! :D

Okonomi vs. Oroshi

Okay, this is actually P-toro with green onions skewer from Kushi Box next door..lol XD

Dessert Night

I have been really busy for the past two weeks so I didn't have time to come here and make any update! :(

Anyway, it was my bf's birthday last weekend and we went for dessert with two friends before ending the night :) The place we went is at Richmond (again), and it's called 100% Healthy Desserts (百份百甜品). It serves many different kinds of Hong Kong style desserts, drinks, snacks, and light meals. I have been there several times but I think I ordered the same thing every time that I go...= = Well, every time I go I go with several friends so I got to try some of the desserts that they ordered =]

士多啤梨盧薈冰 @ 100% Healthy Desserts, Richmond
Strawberry +aloe shaved ice
Shaved ice is always good in the summer :)

楊枝甘露湯河 @ 100% Healthy Desserts, Richmond
Fresh mango + grapefruit + sago served with coconut noodles
My all time favourite!! Cause I love mango! :D

糖不甩 @ 100% Healthy Desserts, Richmond
Sweetened Rice ball?!?!
I think this dish is really good!! It's warm and comes in a plate of 12! so chewy~

Angus Beef Burger vs. Japanese Style Spaghetti

I had McDonald on Friday afternoon after shopping with my boyfriend at Downtown. I had an Angus Burger Meal with coke, and he had a small vanilla iced coffee. It was actually my first time trying the Angus BEEF Burger. I think I have only tried the Angus Grilled Chicken Burger before :P Anyways, the beef tasted different. Is it suppose to taste different? Angus beef? o_O" I like it but it's kinda expensive for fast food :( Why do fast foods in North America are so much more expensive!

Angus Burger Meal @ McDonald, Downtown

I like the beef patty :)

So at night back in Richmond (always Richmond), my boyfriend was driving us to one of our favourite HK style restaurants (cha chang tang) . We actually wanted to find a place that can eat fattening food cause he was trying to gain weight...while I'm trying to lose some, I meant a lot = = But we ended up at this Japanese style spaghetti house located in Central Square. It was my second time there and I think they updated their menu with more chooses of pasta plate, but I think the variety is still very low. I think this is because the ingredients they used for each plate are pretty much the same, just combined with different sauces (pesto sauce, creamy pesto sauce, garlic, or teriyaki) and here is a new dish :P

Oh they also have a new bubble tea menu and a cake menu. I only remember they have these different flavours of -18 degree Celsius cheesecakes, mouse cakes, and tiramisu on their cake menu. We didn't try any cause I wanted the tofu dessert (tofu fa) next door instead, which I forgot to take pictures of :( But we each added $2 for our having bbt instead, and their portions are HUGE compare to other places! :)

my bf's Green Milk Tea
It looks so much nicer than mine :P

Calpis Red Tea
On a diet so I ordered this and I think it's really good.

my Fresh Asparagus & Scallop with Creamy Tomato Sauce
(I think that was the name.)

my bf's Bacon and Potato with Creamy Sauce
(Again, I think that's the name :P)

Look! the drink is hugeeee! I still have a lot left so I asked the lady to put it in a to-go cup for me. It's like regular bbt size. The pasta plate is pretty heavy btw...
